Jose & Molly - St. Mary's, Kansas - Wedding Photography

Jose and Molly were the IDEAL couple for a wedding. So laid back and so in LOVE! They honestly could not stop smiling cause of how incredible happy they were to be together for the rest of their lives. Molly was a beautiful bride wearing her Mother's wedding dress. How awesome is that?!?! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. Everyone was in just high spirits and laughing the whole time, even with the 102 degree weather we dealt with.  I myself had a blast. I walked a way from that wedding with some new and awesome friends.

I had to put this image in. First, it is awesome and Second, the groomsman on the far left has his eyes closed in almost every shot that he was in. Super funny!

Fine Art Holga

This is a series that i worked on right before i moved down here to El Paso from my home town up in Utah.

Here is the Artist Statement that i wrote explaining the series. I believe this series is completed but the concept and idea of the work is not.

As we age the de-fragmentation of our memories allows us to apply
multiple meanings to objects, which may have originally signified only
a single event in our development. The nostalgic effect of this
de-fragmentation promotes the exploration of these meanings, allowing
us to go deeper into our psyche, and revealing things, which we may
not have previously realized. Through this process the rearrangement
and amalgamation of our memories fosters deeper feelings of love,
fear, security, embrace, rejection, support, encouragement, and
abandonment.

I shot this series with a Holga camera then scanned in the images. I did not use photoshop to put these together and get that multiply exposure look. This is how each image was shot. I choose to use the holga cause it give that dreamy look to images and a memory is as foggy sometimes as a dream.

Sorry for posting them all, but i love this series and am excited to start working on some more images to add to the collection here in El Paso.
